The document upload process in Encompass is straight-forward & takes place completely within Encompass. However, if you run into an issue sending your documents through Encompass, the below troubleshooting checklist may help you either resolve the problem or identify the issue’s root cause. 

  1. Does exiting Encompass & re-logging into your system resolve your document upload issue?
  2. Are you connected remotely via VPN? If NOT, please reach out to your IT team to connect via VPN.
  3. Does the time on your computer match the time in your Encompass system? If NOT, please contact EssentConnect at 833.376.4646, Option 3 or essentconnectsupport@essent.us so that we can assist.
  4. Have you successfully uploaded documents to Essent in the past? If NOT, please contact EssentConnect at 833.376.4646, Option 3 or essentconnectsupport@essent.us so that we can assist.
  5. Check the ICE Status Center to determine if the issues you are experiencing are widespread system issues.
  6. Does unselecting the ““Don’t Wait to Upload” checkbox in Essent’s Document Upload Management screen & following the steps outlined here resolve your document upload issues?
